Love does not teach to dump?
Author: Nupur KhalkhoLove is the most beautiful experience for man to get soaked up in and enjoy. First love between two lovers spreads happiness amongst them. When a person is in love, its radiance can be seen in the person's face. Love is a unique feeling of ecstasy in which the lucky ones drench themselves in. It is the togetherness that thrills the lovers and fills them with a sense of elation. Love is a genuine, voluntary act. A person in love is joyful, kind, gentle and good. He or she has peace and patience in the heart. Sincere love for each other in adult life not only brings politeness, calm and contentment but also dignity in the life of the husband and wife. The splendour and divinity of love can be witnessed in their conjugal life. Like a roller coaster, difficult and good times do come in life. When the bondage and depth of love is strong life remains undisturbed in tricky times or when violent storms knock at the door. True love never ends. It is eternal and powerful.
Love gets weaker when there is doubt, arrogance, ego or when partners start keeping records of the wrongdoings. When there is no space left for forgiveness or mercy relationships get strained. Forgiveness should be followed with gentleness. Do not let anyone ruin your life. The biggest mistake some people do is get enervated after they forgive their partners or spouses. This is a time to get re-energized, stay assertive, wait and watch how your beloved works to build the precious relationship for which you work so hard. Being assertive stops repetition of mistakes and protects the sacredness of the relationship. A relationship works when two gallant lovers breathe together and leave no stones unturned to let love work.
Love is not resentful. It endures all things, it believes, is optimistic and hopeful. The other word of love is God. Love does not teach to abandon. God never abandons those who love him. Then why should you? Love is victorious at difficult times. God kept Daniel safe when he was thrown in the den of lions. Love is powerful and can make the impossible, possible.
"My God sent his angel and shut the lions' mouths so that they would not hurt me."
Daniel 6:22
When sanctity of love is maintained, love is beautiful. When it gets mixed-up with impurities like disloyalty, mistrust, consent-sex and lust it gets soiled. These are the work of flesh not the spirit.
What can flesh make a person do?
Flesh is weak and is an adversary of the Spirit. The needs of the flesh are different from the needs and wants of the spirit. Jealousy, anger, quarrels, enmities, strife, infidelity, licentiousness, drunkenness, etc. are the things that our flesh can make us do. These lead to a life that is full of confrontations. The outcome is restlessness. In this journey of life we humans should strike a balance between the two opponents and follow a brilliant lifestyle.
"Wisdom rescued a righteous man when the ungodly were perishing."
The wisdom of Solomon 10:6
God has given us wisdom; we should make use of it. We should walk like the children of God. Parents should not rejoice in ungodly offspring rather help them to understand God's words that are written in the scriptures.
Love teaches us to pursue and learn more about the gifts of the Holy Spirit which fills us withwisdom, knowledge, faith, love and the power to spread God's words. Let us love one another and lead a life of values and morals that makes us proud to say we are God's children. Believe in the Spirit of God.Let itslight shine within us and spread love and warmth to all who come near us or are miles away.
